ABOVE ALL STATE PARK
From a book..1935 Connecticut Guide...
....Leaving Litchfield on R. 25, the traveler may enter Warren by R. 341, or take the more scenic Route 45, along the eastern shore of Waramaug and across the hills to Cornwall Bridge.
On R. 45, about a mile above the Lake, a dirt road leads northwest to Above All State Park, 1456 feet elevation, with a fine view to the west.
As of 2010 'another park' the State seems not want to admit it exists. You judge ways to get there by maps on this page. Rumor is somebody was found with marijuana walking on Grassi Road towards the Park and also a can of Budweiser and the Park was closed forever.
